The Swine Flu

For already few months we have been panicked by some health systems, as if there are no other sicknesses that affect human beings, but the Swine Flu. The World Health Organization has declared it, with the highest emergency level (number 6), as a PANDEMIC.

We have to put it into real proportions:

-          First, the swine flu is milder than the regular flu.

-          Second, every year, until now, more people died from regular flu than from the Swine Flu.

-          Third, most of the people affected, have being cured with just 2 pills of Tamiflu®.

-          Fourth, many of the people that have died had previously related conditions such as the respiratory system, depleted immune system, diabetes, heart, liver or kidney problems.

-          Fifth, why the WHO is talking so much about this flu and not on major conditions that affect day by day millions of people around the world, as: malaria, AIDS, denge, diabetes, obesity, cancer, ect…?

-          Sixth, the pharmaceutical labs are developing vaccines for the swine flu, and they are getting billions of dollars from countries around the world, when they know that those vaccines will probably be useless, because the viruses will mutate before the vaccine will reach the market. Flu viruses are one of the most mutable viruses that exist.

-          Seventh, WHO recommends using face masks to protect from the virus spreading. Masks are of no use because they are being manipulated constantly by the user’s hands and they must be replaced every 4 hours.

-          Eighth, the only preventions WHO is recommending are washing hands, not to sneeze in from of anybody, and isolate the affected ones. WHO is not recommending reinforcing the immune system as a measure of prevention.

Reinforcing the immune system is vital.

During the summer the flu virus is hibernating, to reappear in the fall and winter. During the hibernation the virus is mutating, and no vaccine will be useful because nobody knows the result of the mutation.

If you want to be better protected, starting from September, you should take every day a combination of: Echinaccea, Propolis, Astragalus, and Una de Gato. One dose (recommended by the manufacturer) if you are in good health, and two if you have one of those conditions: diabetes, cholesterolinemia, emphysema or other respiratory conditions; heart problems, impaired immune system by cancer or cancer treatment; liver or kidney conditions; and conditions related to the age or mental. Vitamin C 1,000 – 2,000 mg / day. Reduce as much as possible: sugars (as sugar, sweeteners, and simple carbohydrates), processed food, fast food (the best and faster food are fruits and veggies), red meat, dairy products (yogurt, been the best), nutrients high on saturated fats. Emphasize on: water, complex carbs, white meat, fish (blue is best, high on omegas), use of monounsaturated oils (extra virgin olive oil), eat as much as you can organic products (veggies and fruits); soy, rice, oat or almond milk (as an alternative to dairy milk), and tofu (as an alternative to cheese).

Practice exercise that you feel comfortable with; and relaxation techniques, as Yoga, Tai-Chi, Chi-Gong, etc…

It is important to protect your body, but never forget yourself, your emotions, and your inner peace.
